Compatibility
ShutdownPlus Rolling Restart runs on all versions of Microsoft® Windows® server operating systems, including Windows Server 2008 R2, 2008, 2003 R2, and 2003, for both x64 and 32-bit versions of these operating systems. ShutdownPlus Rolling Restart requires the base terminal services to be enabled. It is fully compatible with and takes advantage of third-party software from Citrix® and is fully supported under VMware.

Management is central on a single controlling server. The controlling server restarts member servers, which do not need to be "touched", except for installing the software and designating it is a member server at installation. Multiple controller servers can be configured in a many-to-many configuration, so your Rolling Restart design can be any way you'd like it. The controller server also has a built-in utility to help you calculate how many servers can be restarted within a time window.
Site licensing (Enterprise licensing) is available on this software.
