ShutdownPlus Server excels in automatically stopping server applications (Exchange, Oracle, DB2, etc) before the server is shutdown or restarted. Typically, it takes quite a while for the operating system to restart/shutdown if the server applications are not stopped beforehand. ShutdownPlus Server also excels in maintaining a secure console and preventing users from accidentally restarting the computer.

	The Programs tab is where the administrator configures the programs that will run when the user logs off. The Wizard automatically adds the Delete temporary and temporary Internet file programs as well as the scripts that can be run to stop applications such as Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes, etc.

	The Behavior tab allows the administrator to configure how ShutdownPlus performs.
	The Schedule tab is where the administrator sets up the restart schedule for the server. The timeframe can be Daily, Weekly, or Monthly. The start time and starting date must be entered.

	Many options are available on the Session tab.
