Safe AutoLogon

Safe AutoLogon allows your Windows desktops and servers to automatically logon with a stored, encrypted username and password when the computer is restarted or powered on. It has many security options, including centralized password management!

Automatic logon can be accomplished by editing the Windows® Registry, which requires some technical expertise - there are articles on how to do this. However, the most *dangerous* part about this is that the password is stored in UNENCRYPTED plain text for anyone to see! That means other spyware software, or anyone with knowledge of how Windows® works, can easily access your password.

Safe AutoLogon stores the password, username, and domain in 256-bit AES/Triple DES encryption. This high-strength encryption keeps your password safe from any spyware, viruses, malware, etc.

Safe AutoLogon uses a patent-pending algorithm to encrypt the information and automatically logon to Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and also Windows 2003, Windows 2008, and Windows 2008 R2.

Safe AutoLogon is member of the Microsoft Windows 7 and 2008 R2 Front Runner early-adopter program:

"Designed for Enterprise Customers"
To address the needs of Enterprise customers, WM Software created a companion product to handle password updates, the Safe AutoLogon Password Server (SALPS). SALPS allows passwords to be updated on the clients before the automatic logon takes place, eliminating time-consuming manual client updating.

Benefits

  • Give users access to network resources without requiring them to type in a password.
  • Increase security by not giving users a network password (or being able to change it).
  • Solves the problem of manually changing passwords at each computer for automatic logons.
